For many parents working from home while the children are little appears to be an ideal solution to managing childcare and work. Many of us envisage a life where our offspring happily potter around at home benefiting from having mummy or daddy on hand, while we seamlessly run our business. Unfortunately the reality is often very different: phone calls interrupted by high-volume wailing, all kinds of mischief got up to while you’re busy at the computer, not to mention the guilt that your children are not getting your full attention and neither is the business!
