Happy 11/11/11 guys! And wow! What a fantastic first week of Love Cookery Blogs we had last week. The response was awesome.

I loved reading through everyone’s entries and have discovered some fantastic blogs out there – I especially love that we even had Sarah’s first ever blog post included in our weekly Hotpot.

So what has been happening in the food blogging world this week? As the nights (and days) are getting dark and cold, its clear that we are turning to heartwarming, comforting dishes – What better way to get through the winter?

Christmas is creeping up on us and I’ve noticed the ‘C’ word appearing in lots of food blogs – This Sunday is Stir Your Christmas Cake sunday – Will you be doing yours? I’m starting to think about edible Christmas presents (probably left it too late as usual!) and will be spending this weekend sorting out my jars and boxes – Have any of you already made any Christmas gifts? Would love to see them included in next week’s Friday Hotpot.

And so we turn to this week’s offerings – Thank you so much for including your posts. I hope you have as much fun as I had this week reading all the new blogs – Who needs all that sleep anyway?
