Speedo – not just for sporty types

When I hear the brand name Speedo I’m automatically transported back to Ibiza in the early 80s to a hotel I spent several family holidays in as a young child and to the pool more specifically where I witnessed numerous hairy Spanish lotharios prance and preen in what I once heard Phoebe and Mike in Friends describe as a banana hammock. Or an even worse image, Mel in Benidorm bending over wearing a rather tight animal print pair of swimming pants as he dived into the pool!
