August is upon us and what better way to start the fun summertime than with the series of books that summed up fun for me as a child? Yep. I’m talking the Mr Men! I have always had a soft spot for Mr Tickle personally but if you speak to my youngest kiddies it’s Mr Bump all the way. Surely that’s the truest test of a books timeless appeal – to appeal to the 7 year old me (now 37) and my 3 year old son at the same time?
