The Haiyan Typhoon

The Haiyan Typhoon - It is not very often I get chance to deal with the outside world. Most of my days are spent doing hair or blogging and I shut myself away in my own little bubble, safe, secure and happy! I rarely watch the TV and when I do it tends to by Cbeebies, Nick Jr or the Disney channel. Very rarely, do I pick up a paper or immerse myself in the world’s news.

However, I just happened to turn my TV on before the kids came home from the grandparents on Sunday evening as the news flashed onto the screen. Four little girls no older than four years old sat shivering on a bench. There little lips quivering as they looked like they were about to cry and the mother in me just crumbled.
