The evolution of a story (NEVER to delete you work)

I didn’t think I had a method of writing, but it turns out I do.

First I have an idea and I write a little memo.

Then I write a very short version of the story.

Then it gradually gets longer and longer, with more intricate plot points and extra characters.

In the end the finished story bears very little resemblance to the original version.

To demonstrate I wanted to share the original story of The Adventures of the Frog Prince, then I realised something.

I had broken THE cardinal rule.
