The English School of Falconry

The English School of Falconry

Situated between Bedford and Biggleswade, the English School of Falconry does what it says on the label – it’s a birds of prey centre with over 200 birds including owls, vultures and eagles and you can have lessons in flying them. Lessons and experiences varying from a year long course to a 1 hour experience.

In the summer, the Cheetah Keeper and his sister enjoyed a 2 hour “Junior Falconer” experience whilst I got to take loads of photos – pretty much the perfect day for our family! The experience fee of £10 covered entry to the site for the day and the experience (great value for a holiday day out) whilst I had to pay the standard entrance – which was just fine because it was a gorgeous day – I guess standing around in the rain might not have been so enjoyable.
