The Day the Crayons Quit - book review and giveaway

We were recently sent The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt to review. We have a few books illustrated by Oliver Jeffers and I think he is very talented. Both children really love sitting down and reading together. They are both just small enough to fit on my lap still, so we all snuggle up to read books every evening, and during the day loads too. We were very excited to get started on this book.

What they say Poor Duncan just wants to colour. But when he opens his box of crayons, he finds only letters, all saying the same thing: His crayons have had enough! They quit! Beige Crayon is tired of playing second fiddle to Brown Crayon. Black wants to be used for more than just outlining. Blue needs a break from colouring all those bodies of water. And Orange and Yellow are no longer speaking?each believes he is the true colour of the sun.
