Surviving Solo Parenting

Mr K.'s job took him to Tokyo this week, leaving me and Baby Lu home alone. Being alone with a baby/toddler, with no help or family around, sucks. And while Mr K. eats raw fish (sounds like a good punishment), I devise simple tricks to survive my solo parenting week.

Surprising Routine I stick to our routine like glue on paper. It's the only way to get through the day and not let the little person sense my tiredness/panic/fear. That said, routine works better when highlighted by elements of surprise, like a fun day involving activities that wear out toddlers on the way home.
