I finished The Longest Ride last week and thought I would share my thoughts. Nicholas Sparks happens to be one of my favorite authors and I was SHOCKED he had a new book out. I was unaware between the busy scheduled lives we lead. I went around town and found that even after Wegmans 30% off, Wal-Mart had the best price for $16.20 (40% off). This story has two very different story lines. "Ira Levinson is in trouble. At ninety-one years old, in poor health and alone in the world, he finds himself stranded on an isolated embankment after a car crash. and Recovering from a recent break-up, Sophia Danko meets a young cowboy named Luke, who bears little resemblance to the privileged frat boys she has encountered at school." I have to say this is very unusual for this authors writing style. It was rather hard to follow and get into the storylines. I was used to his other style of writing. His writing goes back and forth between the two constantly.
