It was a friends birthday last week and I decided to make him some cupcakes, a new flavour, using some of the concentrates I purchased last week.
Sticky toffee pudding cupcakes
4ozs Self raising flour 4ozs castor sugar 4ozs butter (room temperature) 2 Eggs 2ozs of dried dates (chopped) a teaspoon of sticky toffee concentrate Caramel Sauce
4ozs butter ( I use lurpak unsalted, room temp) 8ozs icing sugar drop of cold milk a teaspoon of custard concentrate Caramel buttons and caramel sauce to decorate After cooking and whilst still hot I cored the cupcake and added caramel to the centre, replacing the sponge once caramel in place.
