There are fewer things in life more deserved and soul replenishing than weekend drinks and a spa treatment or two. Just perfect. And up until now the two have rarely, if ever, crossed paths. But that’s all changed thanks to the 17th century Swan at Lavenham who created a choice of cocktails that are a taster of what’s to come when the hotel opens its new Weavers’ House Spa in March 2015.
I love this idea and it’s such a fantastic way to promote the new spa in not only a delicious and creative way, but also in a place with high footfall and somewhere not generally associated with spa treatments and relaxation. By doing this and having something tangible and appealing that’s associated with the spa, the hotel is targeting a whole new set of potential spa visitors in the most unlikely of places.
The five cocktails on offer are named after a selection Temple Spa products that will be used in the spa when it opens, with ingredients and flavours reflecting each product.
