I have searched for years to find the perfect tomato soup recipe. Most are too tart, some just don’t have the right flavour, and the majority have been down right yucky. I’ve been making my own soups for years. Until now the perfect recipe has evaded me.
But my searching is over, let me introduce you to my slow roasted tomato soup…
I think the secret is the slow roasted tomatoes. Nothing comes from a can. And I’ve found personally that whilst cheap supermarket tomatoes eaten fresh lack flavour, they can be used perfectly in this recipe and taste amazing!
