Reasons to be Cheerful 05/06

It's June!? Already?!?!?!

I have been so wrapped up in my own little world, I even forgot I was in charge of the bloghop this month........shameful!

Anyway, despite feeling very sorry for myself of late, I have some great reasons to be cheerful this week:

1. My tweens class assembly. My sons primary school do regular class assemblies, that the parents can go and watch. They are normally about the subject they are covering that term. This term they are covering the 60's, and the assembly was about the change that was brought about by Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King (I know, an amazing lesson to be teaching children). The whole class did a fantastic job, that included singing and dancing.  But seeing my 11 year old son stand up and recite the Martin Luther King 'I have a dream' speech, will be a memory to hold for a very long time!
