If your home is anything like ours, you will have loads and loads of wax crayons. We get them at restaurants as part of children’s activity packs. We get them inside magazines, or from the pound shops when we’re in need of a quick activity fix. They seem to grow before my eyes until we have more than we know what to do with. And then they get broken and the children don’t want to use the broken ones, at least my eldest doesn’t. My youngest finds them harder to use if they’re broken. What do you do with them?
Here’s an idea for re-using wax crayons I was inspired to try after browsing Pinterest. You’ll need some wax crayons and a baking mould. My son is transport obsessed, so I used a silicone mould with trains, planes and cars.
