Playmobil | 40th Anniversary Exhibition

I posted yesterday a photo that took the majority of my readers on a trip down memory lane... Indeed, there are not many of us who have not played with Playmobil figures at least once! They are the offspring of German inventor Hans Beck, who approached the Brandstaetter Group with another idea but was given the task of developing a toy figurine instead. It took Hans Beck three years, between 1971 and 1974, to be finally satisfied with the result.

Our family took the opportunity during the Easter holidays to visit a fabulous exhibition dedicated to these cult toys, celebrating their 40-year anniversary. When we arrived at the museum, an absolute wonderland was awaiting us, spread over 2000 m2....
