When I was little, I had a book called “The Winter Bear” – it’s about children going out in the snow and their bear. My parents, being my parents, have kept this little gem and I have taken great delight in reading it to myself the children and I remembered vividly the lines about there being Old Man’s Beard on the trees. I also remember being out on walks with my parents and spotting said plant, not thinking that there could be any other name for it than Old Man’s Beard – because that’s what it looked like.
Fast forward 30(ish) years. This weekend we went out for our first attempt at geocaching which, to be honest, wasn’t a rip-roaring success. It did however mean that I could get the camera out, take out my swanky new camera bag (therefore carrying a choice of lenses) and see what I could find to photograph. Last week I wrote the article on Love All Blogs for their Better Photo Project about focussing on eyes – this week Annie is talking about looking at taking your pictures from different angles. You can see where this is going can’t you?
