Oh Christian Dior (1905-1957). Morrissey was wrong*. You didn’t waste your life on aroma and clothes and grandeur and style. I think if I had grown up in this home, I might have spent my life ‘sensually stroking the weaves of a sleeve’ (Morrissey does have a great way with words doesn’t he? And if you listen to his lyrics, *he is actually saluting Dior, artist to artist…it’s a beautiful tribute if you listen properly). I digress…

A visit to Dior’s childhood home in the French seaside town of Granville, really shows that where you are from has a big impact...
