How to make an Owl babies story sack

Love pom poms? Love owls? These sweet pom pom owls were inspired by the book 'Owl babies' by Martin Waddell. They are easy to make and are based on a simple pom pom design (older children could help make them). We use them as a story prop - both as we read the story to the children to help maintain concentration and afterwards for the child to tell the story back to us. A great way to develop language and listening skills. Alternatively you could make them as a handmade gift, perfect for an owl lover in your family this Christmas.
