HOTW #10...An Afternoon at Tasha's Tearoom

Last week, my friend Sarah suggested that we try out a new tea room that she'd heard great things about which offered homemade gluten free cakes. She didn't need to ask me twice...within two minutes we'd arranged a date and a time to mosey on down to Tasha's Tearoom in Cheam Village. It turned out to be a lovely afternoon with my gorgeous girlies, filled with laughter, great food and delicious cakes, so this little outing definitely made my Highlight of the Week.

On entering Tasha's Tearoom, you immediately get the sense that its all shiny and new. The decor is cosy, but contemporary with cute shabby chic touches around the walls that give it a lovely homely feel. The staff were really friendly and so accommodating, that we all felt at ease. They even had a box full of toys and books to keep small children entertained during your visit. I know I lot of yummy mummies who really appreciate simple touches like this that make their much needed grown up coffee time more manageable.
