E is a huge fan of finger food (he loved yesterday’s Witches Fingers) and anything that involves dipping so for lunch today I went for a Halloween twist on crudites and humous. It only took five minutes and E thought they were hilarious. I can’t remember where it was I first saw this idea so do forgive me for not crediting it properly.
First peel and slice a carrot. Snip some chives into about 1cm lengths and push one piece onto a cocktail stick, followed by a leaf of whatever greenery you have to hand. I used some flat leaf parsley but coriander leaves would be good as would some lettuce or rocket.
