Easter egg trails
There are some adventurous Easter egg trails on offer at National Trust and National Trust Scotland properties across the country from 18-21 April. There are hundreds of Cadbury Eggslorers Easter Egg Trails to choose from in beautiful locations including castles, historic houses, woodlands and on the coast. Trails cost £2 and normal entry charges to the properties apply.
Shakespeare’s Globe is hosting a free partynofollow to celebrate William Shakespeare’s 450th birthday from noon until 5pm on Easter Monday (21st April). There’ll be entertainment and party games on offer for the whole family, including Pin the Ruff on the Bard, musical statues on the stage, cake decorating and a bouncy castle.
Every year William Shakespeare’s birthday is celebrated in Stratford-upon-Avonnofollow with processions, performances and free entertainment throughout the town centre. The celebrations will begin with the Birthday Procession at 11am on Saturday 26th April and continue all day.
