The fondant icing can be bought pre-made in various colours or in plain white from most supermarkets in the baking isle. I bought white and coloured it myself with food colouring. A little like mixing colours with play dough, just keep kneading until the colours bleed into one.
I used the same cookie cutter as the sugar cookie to cut out an fondant egg shape, and used a sweet little flower sugar craft punch for the fondant flower decoration.
I have to give the credit for these cleverly decorated biscuits to my teenage son. He saw me baking and had a few ideas for decorating them himself. If left to my own devices I might not have such a pretty collection.
