Dried Apple Crisps

Dried Apple Crisps

Dried Apple Crisps I can't believe I've only just got round to making dried apple crisps. They are so easy to make and taste delicious. A brilliant way to preserve and store even more of the lovely apples that I get from my trees. Plus they make a fantastic homemade gift.

You can do these with pretty much any apple.

Wash the apples and slice them so that they are a few mm thick (thicker slices take longer to dry out) and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle a generous amount of ground cinnamon over them and mix using your hands. I found using my hands helped to spread the cinnamon over the apples better than a spoon.
