2 tbsps butter 1 medium sized onion, chopped 8 cups of cooked turkey, chopped in small pieces 1 tbsp curry ¼ to ½ cup of cream, (or coconut water or soy milk) 2 tbsps of flour (or cornstarch) dissolved in about a ½ cup of cold water 1 tsp hot pepper flakes (optional) phyllo pastry (defrosted if frozen) melted butter
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
In a large frying pan, melt 2 tbsps of butter, add onions and cook until softened (about 5 minutes). Add turkey, sprinkle curry over onions and turkey. Add cream. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Slowly add flour dissolved in water to thicken. Sprinkle hot pepper flakes on curried turkey, stir. Turn heat down to low.
