Not a lot of people know that once upon a time I attended the London College of Fashion. I was one of 23 successful applicants out of over 600 to make it onto that year’s Modelling Course (that year being 1987-88!). I really enjoyed my time there and, although my career never followed the modelling path, I did learn an awful lot about fashion and make-up and what works and what doesn’t.
La Redoute recently contacted me to ask me to write a post in a bid to become one of their Brand Ambassadors and share my favourite fashion tip and I knew straight away what I wanted to share. Colour co-ordination and what works together. Whenever I need a new outfit, I love to find matching accessories such as shoes and jewellery to ensure that you look fashion savvy and not mismatched or out of touch.
Many people’s go-to colour is black. Mainly because it is easy to wear, easy to co-ordinate and well-known for being slimming.
