It’s very easy to get overwhelmed by the hiatus that is caused by Christmas preparations. The Cheetah Keeper is finding it stressful – routines are shaken up, school is ‘different’ and there are just too many people everywhere. He managed the Christmas Fair but once home, just lost it – all was too much. So, we did what we do when all is too much for the Keepers, we headed outside – to find out what the National Trust Christmas at Hughenden Manor had in store.
We visited Hughenden back in May and took part in a massive session of their #50things to do before you’re 11¾ making mud pies, rolling down hills, toasting marshmallows and den building. At Christmas it’s all about sparkle, snowmen and carols – and, getting outside.
