The Great Bloggers Bake Off is running for the second week now (I missed week one as I was on holiday, but more on that soon) and this week’s theme was bread. On the show, bakers made bread sticks, English muffins (crumpets) and wowed the judges with their bready showstoppers, but if I am honest, I panicked at the idea of making crumpets and bread sticks seemed a little boring – they’re probably not, if you really can bake, but hey ho. In the end, I decided to go for cheese buns.
When I formed the little bread roll shapes, I thought I had seriously messed them up, but after 12 minutes in the oven, they turned out lovely. Amy liked them so much, that she had two of them before I could even write this post, but try them yourself. Here’s the recipe
