Celebrating Chinese New Year.

Celebrating Chinese New Year.

Tuesday is one of our favourite days of the week because it is the day on which we host the Prestwich Home Education Group in our beloved Heaton Park.

We are lucky to live in an area close to one of the largest municipal parks in Europe and it is an absolutely beautiful place for our children to meet up each week. The staff at the park are incredibly helpful and supportive which makes us all feel extremely welcome and I would like to take this opportunity to extend my thanks to them all.

The boys and I always arrive a little early to set up the space for the activities. Today we put the tables together so that all the children could sit together regardless of age. I also disinfected all the surfaces, toys, sinks and tea making equipment as it just makes me feel better to know it is all clean. I have been to play groups in the past which have been filthy and made me feel very uncomfortable. I would be upset for anyone to feel that way so I try my best to make it as hygienic as possible.
