Sometimes you just get a craving and it’s vitally important that that craving is fulfilled instantly if not before which is exactly what happened on Saturday night when I got a major hankering for brunch. I took to Twitter to see if anyone had any recommendations and was advised to try East Way at Andaz Liverpool Street. I used to work in the City and absolutely love it so I was 100% on board with this suggestion and made a booking for the following morning then and there.
Armed with the boyfriend, his camera and a serious appetite we arrived at Andaz Liverpool Street and were directed to East Way, the hotel’s New York style brasserie whose decor mixes NY’s East Village with East London. Menus perused I opted for a Go-Go Green fresh juice and Eggs Sanchez while Phil had an orange juice and The Big Breakfast. The Weekend Brunch is said to serve up a combination of traditional brunch classics along with some unexpected taste creations all of which tantalise the healthy, the hipster and the hungover (love this) and both my eggs and juice were a definite unexpected surprise.
