Braised red cabbage #ChristmasMakeAhead

The braised red cabbage is cooked and the whole house smells of Christmas now, this makes me happy This year I’ve tried Delia Smith’s Traditional Braised Red Cabbage with Apples recipe, you can find the recipe here. I adapted it slightly by adding a bit more garlic than the recipe states (4 cloves instead of 1) as I’m a bit of a garlic lover. I also added in a splash of Merlot that needed using up.
