The last few days have been hectic to say the least. Monday was a bit of a disaster. The boys were booked onto a 'Christmas at the Front' workshop at the Fusiliers Museum in Bury. They were really excited but we couldn't go because I came down with a tummy bug. We were all devastated. The boys spent the day reading, playing games and watching films whilst I languished on the sofa under a blanket reading and knitting. The disappointment they felt at missing the workshop was tempered by the arrival of Blue Peter badges in the post. They received lovely letters from the Blue Peter team congratulating them for their efforts at raising money for the National Autistic Society recently. Tristan was over the moon to hear that they don't normally award badges to children under 6 years of age but they made an exception because he did something so good. I am very proud of both of them.
