Headshots are a funny thing, some people love the process and warm up quickly, for many, it’s a traumatic experience akin to a dentist trip or a tax audit. It really doesn’t have to be and I think if you approach headshot sessions with a game plan, you’ll be amazed how enjoyable the experience becomes. The following tips are based on actors headshots, but really, anyone having their picture taken formally in a one on one situation will benefit, be it corporate headshots or portrait sessions.
1. Know what type of headshot you want!
Look at other peoples headshots, search on Google. Decide what you want. Don’t just pick the prettiest photo.
