All parents worry about what their kids eat and want to try to help them along the way to their 5-a-day. We all know kids can be hard to please when it comes to food but it’s so important that they get enough fruit so here are 5 simple ways to start making fruit a favourite.
Lead by example – As with so many things, when it comes to eating the old approach of ‘do as I say, not as I do’ is rarely successful. If you want your kids to eat fruit then you need to let them see you eating fruit too. Keep a variety of fruit accessible in fruit bowls or in the fridge and make sure you are choosing a banana at breakfast or reaching for a delicious healthy snack when you’re peckish and the kids will soon follow suit.
