I am ashamed to say my blog doesn’t feature any numeracy ideas (unless you count cooking – which is numeracy of course). As I was the numeracy coordinator in my last school this might seem like a huge oversight. However, my name (as I keep telling the kids I work with) isn’t Mrs Maths – I’m more of an English by name, English by nature kind of girl. The things I focus on tend to be more literacy and arts and crafts inspired, as that is more my passion.

Anyway for this reason I have chosen this post. You might recognise the blogger behind Life At the Zoo. Don’t be fooled by the new blog – she is in fact blogging royalty. Anyway this is a super set of fun numeracy ideas for young children and I’m sure you’ll find something interesting to do.
