So after my last post about our successful day out, followed a fairly huge meltdown from James. Maybe it was the overload of a day out, maybe it was also to do with him being tired, but I think it was mainly because we had told him that tonight he had to go upstairs to bed, rather than falling asleep on the sofa.

I tried giving him plenty of notice, writing a social story which he seemed to like, and also offering a reward (lunch at Subway, his idea of heaven!)
