I’m not a sporting fan by any stretch of the imagination but like most of the UK I have been caught up in Olympic fever. I dared switch off cBeebies in an attempt to get Goldilocks interested in something other than the Rhyme Rocket. I chose badminton to start with and the grumbling started almost immediately. I refused to admit defeat and put on gymnastics. The green eyed monster came out and said they were too good, so she couldn’t watch them.
