Some of my fondest memories of my granddad are when I was allowed to help him in the garden. I remember being fascinated at how this giant of a man was able to graft various plants together, and nurture the tiniest seedlings into the most beautiful plants and flowers.
Sadly, he’s no longer with us, but whilst he may no longer be around, the enthusiasm for growing things he instilled in me remains, I hope to pass this on to my children.
This week seems a good time to start encouraging the interest they have already shown.
We kicked of our week of gardening by making a
3 flower pot tower!
