Kids and camping – mayhem, right? Well, maybe for some. For others, the idea appeals more than the reality. But if you’ve previously dismissed a camping holiday because you were worried about keeping your children occupied then it’s time to think again. Generally speaking, everyone loves to go on holiday and stay in a tent. Not only does it feel more of an adventure, it’s also friendlier on the old wallet. And it doesn’t have to be in a rickety old tent in a field in the middle of nowhere.
Camping has changed. In the UK you’ll find more and more camping ‘pods’ popping up at many sites. They’re cosy little wooden huts that provide a base for a holiday of discovery.
