Helen chooses: “Becoming a Parent” by Save Every Step
Save Every Step is a gorgeous blog written by the owner of the SaveEveryStep.com, a website where anyone can record their family’s defining moments on a timeline, with photos and stories. I often enjoy trawling through Helen’s (yes another Helen, but it’s a coincidence, and if your name’s Anita and I love your blog I’ll still write about you!) stories of her own family, especially her transcriptions of letters written home from World War 2 by her Uncle Joe. But today I read her story about Becoming a Parent.I read birth stories, and I read stories about children and babies all the time, but this is different. Helen’s writing in this post is so compelling and lovely, that I almost felt like I was there, loving her new baby, and her growing up boy. It’s a stunning post, go take a look.
You’ll also find that there’s a linky, so if you’ve written about your feelings around becoming a parent, you can link up. Can’t think of 2 more compelling reasons to visit.

What a lovely surprise, after a day full of headaches and endless snot (too much info?) to find this lovely ‘Helen Chooses’ about one of my little posts!!! Who needs paracetamol!!? Thanks, from one Helen to another
You’re welcome! It was such a lovely read!
