Barking Mad Baby Names

When our baby was still “the Bump” we were obsessed with finding her the right name: nothing too cutesy as she might be Prime Minister one day (Angel Thexton, Prime Minister). Nothing that would date (think ‘Ethel’). Nothing utterly mad (‘Trixie-Biscuit’). And then there was the other problem, the one nobody likes to mention… the really, really popular names. So popular if you shout them out loud in the park chances are 5 toddlers and 4 dogs will all look up. So what if we got a bit ironic and called her ‘Scamp’? ‘Patch’ (bit too eczema-y?) Or ‘Lassie’??
