But here’s what I don’t understand. M made it perfectly clear that he wasn’t going to be the sort of family that she needed. He had done nothing but let her down right from the start. So in a way it was no surprise when I stopped hearing from him. But what about his parents? She’s s still their Granddaughter. I respect that and had they have requested to keep in touch so that they could have a relationship with their Grandchild I would have done. But I have heard nothing from them either of them.
