20-02-12 Love Video Weekly Showcase

I have to hold my hand up this week. I’ve been a bit lax. And for that, I apologise.

Last week, I said that I’d be on the Love All Blogs community site asking you lovely bloggers what you think makes a good video. But I didn’t get round to it until the Thursday. Fail *slaps hand on forehead*.

I want to say I had a brilliant ~~excuse~~ reason for not getting round to it straight away. But I haven’t. I could try to make one up, but I can’t even think of a good-enough fake excuse. All I can say is that the week seemed to go seriously fast. So fast that I had trouble keeping up. In one way I’m glad – it meant that the weekend (and one-on-one time with my children) seemed to come so much quicker – and in another, it was not welcome. I had too much to be doing. Life really can get in the way sometimes.

This week appears to be continuing in a similar vein. It’s my little girl’s birthday this week, Sophia turns three-years-old – eek! We’re doing something very exciting to mark it (although I’m finding it hard to keep it a surprise for her) and don’t worry, I fully intend to produce a vlog!

Mammasaurus – Eat a desert spoon of custard powder

Needless to say eating a dessert spoon of custard powder is not easy, but when Kate Takes 5 dished up the challenge I had to accept – and this time I invited the children to join me in the challenge, Queen Scamp is obviously more clever than I as she had the sense to JUST SAY NO. We could all learn a thing or two from her!
