09-01-12 Love Video Weekly Showcase
Welcome one and all to the very first Love Video Blogs showcase!
According to those lovely people over at BritMums, 2012 will see the rise of the video blogger. If that’s true then this showcase, carefully crafted by the evil genius Mammasaurus, is a perfect stage to show-off our videos and help pioneer the vlog movement. All hail the vloggers!
So, what makes a good video blogger? In my humble opinion, it’s not about the level of experience you have, it’s about being brave, trying new things, getting creative, being original. Your videos may not ‘work’ all the time but it’s brilliant fun putting them together.
And if you’re not sure if you could possibly make your own vlog, it isn’t as hard as you might think. In fact, I’ve made a handy ‘how to’ video for you. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

So, if you haven’t attempted a video blog post yet, be brave and give it a try. Hopefully this showcase will serve as a source of inspiration for all of us. I’m looking forward to watching all (or at least as many as I possibly can) of the videos submitted to this showcase.
See you all here next week and, in the meantime, happy viewing.

Mummy..Mummy..MUM!! – Fun with Lego
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9Fng5YUy3A]
My mum sent me some money for my birthday this year, so instead of spending it on my usual Molten Brown goodies, I was a bit geeky and bought some animation software that I’d seen on Red Ted Art.
As soon as it arrived Z and I got to work with the Lego from his advent calendar.
Next time we might try and have less falling over.

Brink of Bedlam blog – Dr Who Personalise Your Own Screwdriver Review!
Here I have reviewed the Doctor Who Personalise Your Own Screwdriver set. It was used on the UKMumsTV site where I am featured as one of their team of six preferred bloggers and vloggers. I always try to make my reviews informative, fun and well put together. In addition to this I often include humour and pride myself on having an honest and well thought out opinion. Vlogging is something I love and would like to eventually specialise in. I think vlog reviews can reveal so much more about products than simply via photographs and the written word .

Adventures of an Ordinary Parent – What’s in my bag? Come and see…
This week I have had a close encounter of the very random kind.
Over on twitter, some very lovely mummy bloggers have been egging each other on to show the world what on earth they carry around in their handbag…Crumbling under the pressure that was duly applied by Cheetahs in my Shoes and Mammasaurus, I finally agreed to make a video about my handbag. So, without further ado, here is the main feature: What on earth do I have in my handbag? You might be surprised…

Cheetahs In My Shoes – Is too much routine too much?
I’ve been inspired this week by the research published by the Princes Trust about the need for stable environments to give children a better chance at school. But is too much routine too much? Here’s my view – let me know what you think…

Here come the Girls – How Clean Is Your House?
I want to let you into a little secret. I don’t have any problems whatsoever keeping my house clean and tidy. Yes I know I have three young children, and yes they make an incredible amount of mess – especially the twin terror toddlers. But I have a little trick I learnt off Mary Poppins…
Easy as pie.
Now I’m off to read the paper while the ironing is being done.
